grape picker sausages

These grape picker sausages roasted with grapes, onion and red wine make a super simple yet delicious classic Italian dish. It’s called ‘saliscie all’uva’ and is a traditional lunch for Italian grape pickers. The slightly caramelizedred winesauce goes so well with the sweet grapes and salty sausages. Balsamic vinegar makes the sauce even sweeter and more syrupy. This is one of those Italian dishes where a just few simple ingredients  make a wonderfully tasty dish. If you are not a fan of red wine, you could use white wine and white grapes instead.Looking for more berry recipes? Check out my (Dutch) book Dosia Plukt Bessen
